About Me
Hi, my Name is Kim and I’ve always been passionate about health & fitness. This interest led to my career as a physiotherapist, practising since 2003.
Understanding anatomy & physiology helps teaching greatly, with an increased depth & breadth of knowledge on individual variances, impact, level of health & types of insult, injury, repair & healing.

In my professional & therapeutic role, I have used clinical Pilates & rehab exercises for health & rehab since I began Physio training in 2000. In 2012 I began the formal training in APPI (Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute) Pilates Mat-work.
I have taught Core Stability & numerous Rehab groups, working both in the NHS & in numerous Trusts nationally, privately & internationally in New Zealand.

Within my Physio career, I have gained experience in numerous roles & specialities including; General Medicine, Palliative, Paediatrics, Musculo-skeletal Outpatients & Orthopaedics.

In my current role I work with youth & paediatric groups. This is rehab based with emphasis on pacing, graded exercise therapy, CBT, functional rehab & education around maximising health, energy, well-being & chronic pain management.

It is my belief, that in today’s busy Western world, our daily culture can add significant stress, negatively impacting on ours lives. And that the key to well being for all is to learn & practice balance. Happily, with regular & sustained Mindful Yoga, Pilates & Meditation practice, you can achieve this balance and well-being in your own life.
