Clinical / Functional Pilates
Designed to increase fitness, strength, alignment, posture, maximise energy, efficiency & precision of movements. With emphasis on improving control in more dynamic & functional positions.
Appropriate for those with enough understanding & general fitness & ability in Pilates / Yoga stretches already. Alongside those who want to improve their performance, fitness.
Decrease injury & problems generally or in sports ie. running, cycling, triathlon, football, dancing, rugby, martial arts, netball, etc.
Yoga-lates Therapeutics

As above for clinical Pilates, deigned to be suitable enough for those of lower to moderate level physical challenges. Post injury or surgery, chronic health problems or burnout. But still able to get up & down on floor.
Adding a mix of control, strength & stretch exercises with mindful slower controlled movements to ensure precision, learn correct techniques, stability, proprioception & alignment in Pilates &
Yoga.
With a longer relax / meditation session to finish to aid nourishment, rejuvenation & recovery, thereby reducing stress & the cortisol response.


Flow Yoga
Modified Ashtanga & Vinyasa Yoga
Predominantly flow based sequences &
asana’s (postures). For those of varying ability wanting to learn or progress their yoga journey.
Focus mindfully to enter & hold stretches or sequences with improved techniques & physical alignment, minimising risk or injury, improving fitness, body awareness, posture, with strengthening, lengthening & release of soft tissue, fascia & articular surfaces (joints) .
Also improving sport through muscles working isometrically, concentrically & eccentrically. Whilst improving cardiovascular fitness & toning in this yang based form, building heat & breath in the
body adding to detoxification of organs.
To end each yoga practice with shavasana (relaxation / meditation / restore) the balancing yin (calming) effect. Naturally as with all forms of yoga, there is increased general well-being, improved emotional & stress regulation, increased focus &
concentration & spiritual development.
Youth Pilates
Suitable for kids & youths with specific musculoskeletal or neuromuscular problems, eg, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Symptomatic / Unsymptomatic Hypermobility, mild Cerebral Palsy, Obesity, specific injuries, aches & growing pains.
Or for those wanting to improve general fitness, flexibility & well-being. To improve sports or activity performance & improve balance / proprioception. Learning basic relaxation & breathing techniques to reduce stress & exam worries.
